Stavo curiosando il sito di Vogue Italia e ho letto con piacere l'appello dell'editore Franca Sozzani contro tutti quei siti, blog e pagine Facebook che sostengono l'anoressia come modello di bellezza. So che può sembrare un controsenso visto che spesso sulle passerelle sfilano ragazze magrissime, le cui gambe sono poco più grosse delle zampe di un fenicottero, ma spero che questo sia un altro passo verso la totale comprensione che l'anoressia è una malattia e che come tale non va inneggiata proponendo modelli sbagliati.

I was checking Vogue Italy website and I was pleased to notice that the editor Franca Sozzani is promoting a campaign against all those site, blogs and Facebook pages that encourage anorexia as a style of beauty. As on many catwalk many models' legs are just a little bit thicker than those of a flamingo, this campaign can be seen as nonsense but I really hope this can be another step forward the total comprehension that anorexia is a desease and media don't have to encourage it proposing wrong examples.
